Samsung Galaxy Note 5 vs Moto X Style, benefits of each
Two recently announced smartphones that are making waves at the moment are the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and the Motorola Moto X Style. The Note 5 has just released while the X Style is set to hit the shelves next month. Both of these devices have the same sized display, run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, and have some very desirable specs. You can read more on the Galaxy Note 5 and Moto X Style in our earlier articles at the links provided. Key specs of the Samsung phablet include an Exynos 7420 octa-core processor, 5.7-inch display with Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440, 4GB of RAM, and storage models of 32, 64 or 128GB (non-expandable). It has a 16-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing snapper, and non-removable 3000 mAh battery.
On the other side of the coin the Moto X Style (aka Moto X Pure Edition in the US) has a Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor, a 5.7-inch Quad HD resolution display, 3GB of RAM, and this time 16, 32 or 64GB for internal storage. However, unlike the Note 5 this is expandable with microSD card to 128GB. The Moto X Style has a 21-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and just like the Note 5 it has a 3000 mAh battery that’s non-removable.

It aims to focus on showing the benefits of each phone against the other and begins by listing the advantages of the Moto X Style. A few of these are that it’s water-repellent, has a cheaper price, and a flash for the front camera. More aspects are noted but we’ll let you find them all out when you watch the video.

What is the use of buying the Note 5 at this such a high price,with the Galaxy S7 not to far from being released,Samsung are over pricing there current phones plus losing there use to be Best Selling options,People will be getting feed up with Samsung by copying the iPhones,when its Apple that is making better Sales targets than Samsung,Moto X Style will be more Affordable phone Sim-Free,Note 4 is still the Best Valued Smartphone from Samsung
The Moto X Pure is a good alternative if you don’t want to drop over $900 for the Note 5. Yes, some carriers have it for less but throw everything else in and that is the least you will spend. A case, activation fee, screen protectors, charging pad if you want to do wireless charging and lets not forget, Taxes. Samsung is trying to make up their falling profits in one release.
Silly comparison. They should have listed a list of disadvantages, then there would be “Touchwiz” listed 1 to 10 in Note5. The first thing that one should do after buying any Sam device is root it and flash it with a custom rom to survive the next 18 months
Definitely no doubt who wins here. Motorola has no business in the phablet game stick with the low budget handsets.

I actually don’t want to the Moto X Style. I don’t want a bigger screen. My Moto X fits my needs perfectly.

I have always bought the note lineup but their lack of SD card is making me consider upgrading to the x pure from my note 4. Shame.
They forgot about the most important thing… software. Whats the point of an extra gb of ram, 2 extra cores (for the cpu) and a better gpu if the software is lacking. You can’t expect more power consuming components to compensate for slower software. A phone shouldn’t intrigue “business” orientated people with a style. Software is the most important thing in a phone. A slimmer design isn’t always good, especially if the back is uncomfortable to hold. Moto X Style is better then the note 5. I don’t see the big difference between the note 5 and the note 4, it seems Samsung is getting greedy.

The only thing missing on the moto X is OIS, and for $300 less it’s a no brainer.
