HTC Desire 728 price indicators from China launch

It was back in July that we saw a smartphone called the HTC Desire 728 receive TENAA certification. Now we have HTC Desire 728 price indicators from its China launch. Global availability of the phone outside China has not yet been announced but this will give you some idea of possible pricing elsewhere.

Specs of the HTC Desire 728 are now official and include a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6753 64-bit octa-core processor, Mali-T720 graphics, and a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with HD resolution of 1280 x 720 resulting in 267 ppi. It has 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD slot), a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 1080p video capture, and a 5-megapixel front snapper.

This new phablet is juiced by a 2800 mAh battery with fast charging, and it runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box. It’s available in China in white or grey colors and is a dual SIM handset with 4G LTE Cat.4 support capable of speeds up to 150Mbps. The HTC Desire 728 measures 157.9mm x 77.8mm x 7.87mm and weighs 153g.

The price for China has been announced as CNY 1699. That’s approximately $267, £175, €240 or Rs. 17,850. Bear in mind these are only guideline prices as pricing is likely to vary according to individual markets. When we hear more about availability outside China we’ll give further news on the HTC Desire 728.
