The Vivo Y27L lands in India for Rs. 12,990

#

Vivo has delivered a new handset for consumers in India today with the Vivo Y27L. The oddly named device is another mid-range handset, but you might not know that considering the price sits at Rs. 12,990.

Manufacturers constantly vie for consumers attention in India, and Vivo is hoping to gain some fans with the Vivo Y27L release. The Vivo Y27L has a 4.7-inch display with a resolution of 1,280 x 720 and is powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 along with 1GB of RAM. The storage capacity is listed at 16GB but expandable, while the camera combo clocks in at 8MP/5MP. The Vivo Y27L is a slim handset as well with measurements of 136.9mm x 68.1mm x 6.99mm with a weight of 137grams.

In the connectivity department, the Vivo Y27L has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, an FM Radio, GPS, 3G, and 4G LTE. You’ll get Dual-SIM connectivity like many handsets in the region, and a 2,260mAh battery will provide the power to it all. Unfortunately, the Vivo Y27L won’t come with Lollipop like many of its mid-range counterparts so you’ll have to make due with Funtouch 2.0 which is based on Android 4.4.

The Vivo Y27L is ready to roll at retail shops and online e-tailers throughout the country. The device does have some things going for it, but the Rs. 12,990 price tag may turn some folks off considering there are similarly priced options in the region that offer up more value.

What do you think of the Vivo Y27L price compared to its specifications?
