Doogee F5 pre-orders have begun with a price of $139

#

Last month, we learned of the Doogee F5 and were pretty excited to see what it was going to bring to the table. If you feel the same way, you’ll be pleased to know the Doogee F5 pre-orders have begun and the handset has a low price of $139.

One of the big draws of the Doogee F5 is its build, as the company opted for a “liquid metal” alloy frame and a bit of a squared look. It’s not a bad looking handset, but the real reason folks will be interested are the internals and price. The Doogee F5 isn’t a flagship, but it offers up quite the value and is a little cheaper than we initially thought at only $139.99.

The Doogee F5 sports a 5.5-inch FHD panel and gets its power from a 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 and 3GB of RAM. You’ll get 16GB of internal storage to work with, while the camera combo clocks in at a respectable 13MP/8MP. Connectivity options include the usual suspects along with Bluetooth, GPS, 4G LTE and a fingerprint scanner. A 3,000mAh battery will keep the lights on for the dual-SIM handset, and its set to run Android 5.1.

As you can tell from the Doogee F5 specs, it’s well worth a look if you’re thinking about trying a smartphone from the Far East and don’t want to spend a fortune. While we can’t speak to the software side of things or the user experience, it’s certainly solid under the hood. The Doogee F5 is available for pre-order on Gearbest and is set to ship “after” September 30th if you’re interested in picking one up.
