#

Earlier this week we told you about a slew of new Micromax handsets with 4G. If you’re looking for something less expensive, the Micromax Bolt Q339 may be the answer as it’s just been announced with a price tag of Rs. 3,499 for India.

Micromax is no stranger when it comes to entry-level devices, as that’s been their bread and butter along with mid-rangers. Occasionally, they’ll drop something with a bit more pop, but the Micromax Bolt Q339 doesn’t fall into that category. It’s a phone built for folks on a budget, so you’ll have to make some compromises when it comes to the specifications.

The Micromax Bolt Q339 is a sturdy looking handset with a 4.5-inch display featuring a resolution of 854 x 480. Beneath the tiny panel of glass, you’ll find a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731, which is backed by 512MB of RAM. You’ll get 4GB of internal storage to work with and the rear camera is listed at 5MP while the front-facing snapper is 2MP. The usual connectivity options are present along with the aforementioned 3G while the battery clocks in at 1,650mAh. As for the OS, you’ll get Android 4.4 out of the box.

The Micromax Bolt Q339 is launching as a Flipkart exclusive for India and it will be available to purchase in Grey. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 3,499 with 500MB of free 3G if you roll with Vodafone.
