Intex Cloud Champ arrives in India with a 4.5-inch display

#

The Cloud line is one of Intex’s more popular series, and a new smartphone has just been announced in the Intex Cloud Champ. Like most of its brethren, it’s a budget-friendly handset as it won’t break the bank at Rs. 3,999.

A few weeks ago we told you about the Intex Cloud N4 Plus, and now the Intex Cloud Champ has stepped up to the plate. While the price is nice, the smartphone has several things working against it including the OS, which is listed as the outdated Android 4.4.2. That said, let’s take a look at the rest of the Intex Cloud Champ specs.

According to the listing, the Intex Cloud Champ will sport a 4.5-inch panel with a resolution of 480 x 854. Beneath the glass, you’ll find a dual-core MediaTek MT6572X humming along at 1GHz with a bit of help from 512MB of RAM. The internal storage is listed at 4GB, but expandable through the usual means. Other features to note include a 5MP rear camera, 2MP front-facing camera, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G, and Dual SIM connectivity. The Intex Cloud Champ will draw its power from a 1,700mAh battery and runs the aforementioned Android 4.4.2.

As you can tell from the Intex Cloud Champ specs, it isn’t going to break any records with its power. It is affordable though at Rs. 3,999, and should be available to purchase soon as it’s already listed on the company’s official site.
