Lenovo A7000 Turbo set for a release on January 11 in India

#

Lenovo has quietly introduced a new smartphone for India with the Lenovo A7000 Turbo. It’s another mid-ranger bound for the region, but with a nice price tag and solid specifications.

Earlier today we told you about the HTC Desire 728 Dual SIM, which is gearing up to go on sale in India soon. The Lenovo A7000 Turbo is a handset in the same range, but with a considerably cheaper price tag. As for the specs, the Turbo boasts a 5.5-inch FHD panel and is powered by a 64-bit 1.7GHz octa-core chip. The RAM is listed at 2GB, and you’ll get 16GB of internal storage to work with as well.

The Lenovo A7000 Turbo measures 152.6mm x 76.2mm x 8mm and has a weight of 150grams. The selfie-snapper makes use of an OmniVision OV5680 5MP sensor while the rear camera is listed as a 13MP OmniVision OV13850 lens. A full array of connectivity options are present including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, 4G LTE, and Dual SIM. A reasonably sized 2,900mAh battery will keep the lights on and you’ll get Android 5.0 with Vibe UI 2.0 on top.

As you can tell by the Lenovo A7000 Turbo specs, it’s got plenty of pop under the hood and the Rs. 10,999 price tag should make it an attractive option for consumers in the region. The handset will be available in Black and the company’s official site has a shipping date listed for January 11.
