LG K10 price indicators from official launch

#

Last week LG announced two new smartphones before CES 2016 kicked off, the K10 and the K7. The new K Series is aimed at providing decent camera capabilities in a more affordable mid-range device, but pricing and availability were not given at the time. That’s all changed and we now we have LG K10 price indicators from the official launch that has just taken place in Korea.

The LG K10 price for Korea has been confirmed at 200,000 Korean Won. At the time of writing that equates to around $165, £113, €152 or Rs. 11,100. Of course pricing often differs according to regional market, so these equivalents are only indications of its price elsewhere at this point. The LG K10 will be on sale in Korea from January 14, with global availability expected in the next few weeks.

Colors for the LG K10 are Indigo Black or White, and a Quick View Cover accessory will also be available as a separate purchase. The handset has its volume and power button controls on the rear of the device and comes in several variants (more details here). The model just launched for Korea is the one with 4G LTE support and 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front-facing camera combination.

Further specs of the LG K10 include a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 5.3-inch IPS display with HD resolution of 1280 x 720, 1.5GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage (expandable to 32GB via micro SD). It has a 2300 mAh battery and connectivity is catered for with 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, and GPS. The K10 runs the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. The handset measures 146mm x 74.8mm x 8.8mm and weighs 140g.

Does this new smartphone from LG sound like a fit for you? Do you hope that availability of the LG K10 will spread to further regions very soon? Send a comment to let us know.
