LG G4 Stylus 3G only version now listed for India

#

The LG G4 Stylus released in May last year and the 4G LTE smartphone arrived on sale in India in the summer. Some time later a 3G version of the phone has appeared, and the LG G4 Stylus 3G is now showing on LG’s India website. If you’re interested in a 3G-only variant, read on for the price, specs and more.

When the LG G4 Stylus with 4G LTE connectivity launched in India it was priced at Rs. 24,990. However, since then LG has cut the price of the phone and currently has it listed on the website for Rs. 22,000. It’s worth noting that we’ve also seen it cheaper than this at other retailers. The LG G4 Stylus 3G (LG H540D) on the other hand is listed with pricing of Rs. 19,000.

As well as the obvious difference between the 3G-only and 4G LG G4 Stylus, there are also some other changes. For instance the LG G4 Stylus 3G is equipped with a 1.4GHz MediaTek MT6592M octa-core processor, a step up from the 1.2GHz Snapdragon quad-core processor in the G4 Stylus 4G model. News on the camera front is that the LG G4 Stylus 3G has an 8-megapixel rear camera rather than the 13-megapixel variety with the LG G4 Stylus 4G. The front-facing snapper is still 5-megapixels though.

Other specs of the LG G4 Stylus 3G are a 5.7-inch IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 720, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded with microSD card to 32GB. There’s a 3000 mAh battery to keep the juice flowing, and connectivity options include WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC, and microUSB. The phone weighs 163g and measures 154.3mm x 79.2mm x 9.6mm.

The dual SIM G4 Stylus 3G runs the Android 5.0 Lollipop-based LG UX 4.0, with features that include Knock Code to unlock the handset, Glance View, and Gesture Shot. It also comes with a stylus pen. The phone comes in Metallic Silver or Floral White colors. Would you consider buying the LG G4 Stylus 3G model?
