We’re slowly seeing more smartphones releasing running the Windows 10 Mobile OS and it’s always good to see more choice arriving. The Funker W5.5 Pro is a new Windows 10 phone with a 5.5-inch display as its title indicates. It also has a water-resistant exterior.

The Funker W5.5 Pro has just been launched by the Spanish smartphone maker and it’s priced at €239. That equates to around $260, £180, or Rs. 17,700 at current rates, although the phone is only on sale in Spain at the moment. It’s unclear whether it will also become available in further countries.

Specifications of the Funker W5.5 Pro include a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor, a 5.5-inch display with HD resolution of 1280 x 720, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage (expandable with microSD card to 128GB). It’s equipped with a 2600 mAh battery to provide the juice, and supports 4G LTE connectivity, 3G, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and microUSB 2.0.

The phone carries a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash, and 1080p video capture, plus a 5-megapixel snapper at the front. It’s offered in a black color only and weighs in at 135g. The handset measures 154.8mm x 78.6mm x 6.9mm so it’s nicely slim. The mid-range phone has a pretty basic design and can stand up to a certain amount of exposure thanks to its water-resistant casing.

As we said at the top it’s good to see a growing number of handsets arriving running Windows 10 Mobile out of the box, and this is Funker’s first phone to do this. You can check out more details about this new smartphone at the source below.
