#

Lava is a popular brand in India and has just launched another new smartphone. The newest device from the company is dubbed the Lava Iris Fuel F2 and it has a low price tag that’s likely to appeal to potential buyers looking for a budget handset. The phone is exclusively available from eBay.

The Iris Fuel F2 is the latest in the company’s Fuel series, and specifications include a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and a 5-inch display with resolution of 854 x 480. It has 512MB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage (expandable with microSD to 32GB). The 3000 mAh battery should offer juice for up to 31 hours of 2G talk time. Camera-wise there’s a 5-megapixel camera at the rear with LED flash, and a VGA front-facing sensor.

There’s no 4G LTE with this phone but it does have 3G, 2G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity options. There’s also FM Radio and a 3.5mm audio jack, and it’s a dual SIM phone with dual standby. It runs the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. You can purchase the Lava Iris Fuel F2 from eBay.in at a price of Rs. 4,444 with free shipping. It’s available right now in black or white colors with estimated delivery of a few days.

Readers might want to compare this new Lava smartphone with another new phone that was launched today, the Intex Cloud Breeze. It has a lower price of Rs. 3,999, a lesser battery capacity and only a dual-core processor. It also runs the older Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS but has more RAM at 1GB.

Do you find the new Lava Iris Fuel F2 an attractive proposition for its price? Maybe you’re more inclined to save money by opting for the cheaper Intex Cloud Breeze or another new smartphone? We always appreciate your comments so do send them in.
