Ulefone Future price set at $199 as Pre-Sales begin

#

We first learned of the Ulefone Future back in January, and it appears we are finally nearing its release. Initially, we weren’t sure how much it would cost or when it would land, but today pre-sales have begun ahead of an official launch in May.

The Ulefone Future is going to be a thin-bezeled metal beauty from the Far East, and it has more than one interesting feature that makes it worth a look. We’re going to start with the design though, as the phone has a 5.5-inch FHD panel that is “bezel-less” with a slight curve on the edge. The rear is unremarkable, but the fingerprint sensor is mounted in a unique way as it’s on the side of the handset.

As for the innards, the Ulefone Future comes with a whopping 4GB of RAM under the hood which pairs nicely with the 64-bit Helio P10 processor. The storage is listed at 32GB, and expandable up to 128GB with a microSD card. The rear camera clocks in at 16MP with PDAF and a Dual-tone flash while the front-facing snapper is listed at 5MP. Other features to note include a USB Type-C port, Dual-SIM, 4G LTE, Android 6.0, and a 3,000mAh battery with Quick Charging.

The Ulefone Future is in the flagship class when it comes to the specifications and features, but it won’t cost nearly as much as similar handsets. Pre-sales have already begun for the handset, and it carries an early price tag of $199, but that price will go up to $239.99 sometime after May 5 before going up again to $269.99 at launch. An exact release date isn’t given although re-sellers are expected to have them in stock around May 20.
