Samsung Gear VR content package is live for European Consumers

#

It remains to be seen if anyone from the mobile arena can challenge Samsung when it comes to Mobile VR. Content has been the deciding factor thus far, and Sammy’s has launched a new Samsung Gear VR content package for their European fans.

When it comes to Mobile VR, there is only one way to go if you want a “quality” experience. While we’ve seen several contenders this year, a version of Cardboard is still your second-best option behind the Gear, and we don’t see that changing anytime soon. In a land where content is king, the Gear VR has things on lock and if you reside in Europe, Sammy has a very sweet offer for you.

One of the first things you’ll experience when you strap the Gear VR onto your dome is sticker shock. Games in the Oculus Shop are expensive compared to the usual mobile apps, and there’s no “try before you buy” system in place which puts a damper on things. The Samsung Gear VR content package can get you gaming without breaking the bank as it includes several of the better VR games from the Oculus Shop and is totally free providing you meet a few requirements.

Samsung Gear VR content package will include six titles with the popular multiplayer game, Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, being the best of the bunch. That said, Anshar Wars 2 is also quite nice and the same can be said for the rest of the titles, which include Darknet, Ocean Rift, Drift, and Starchart. Purchased individually, these games would set you back around $55 bucks as most of them are listed at $10 each.

If you’re down with Mobile VR, the new Samsung Gear VR content package is definitely a deal although it is a regional one geared towards consumers in Europe. To take advantage of the offer, you’ll have to pick up the Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge in Europe after which you will be offered the Gear VR at a discounted price along with the Samsung Gear VR content package.
