Like clockwork, the Moto G4 is bound for India as of today. The metal-clad beauty can be yours for Rs. 12,499 if you’re willing to pick one up from Amazon.in.

The announcement of the Moto G4 didn’t generate a whole lot of buzz initially. While the low-powered handset offers up quite a bit of value, it the Moto G4 Plus stole a bit of its shine. That powerhouse isn’t necessarily cheap though, which makes the regular Moto G4 a fine option for folks on a bit of a budget in India.

Like its more powerful sibling, the Moto G4 is in the phablet class with a 5.5-inch panel sporting a resolution of 1,290 x 1,080. It has quite a bit of pop thanks to a Snapdragon 617 and 2GB of RAM, which is more than sufficient for most folks. As for the storage, the Moto G4 comes with 16GB out of the box and lets you expand up to 256GB through a microSD card slot.

The G4 has a solid sensor on its backside thanks to a 13MP sensor with a Dual-LED flash while the selfie-snapper is listed at 5MP. In the connectivity department, you’ll find the usual suspects like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and A-GPS along with 4G LTE. As it’s an international variant, it also has Dual SIM card slots. The Motorola G4 sips its power from a 3,000mAh battery, has Turbo Charging, and is listed as running Android 6.0.

It’s not uncommon to see exclusive deals for new handsets bound for India, and Amazon has netted themselves a nice one with the Moto G4. The smartphone will make its debut in the region at midnight today if you’re looking to pick one up.
