Zopo Hero 2 Announced at just $69.99, MT6737 and fingerprint scanner onboard

#

Zopo is one of the less popular Chinese brands compared to the likes of Xiaomi, Huawei, Meizu, Vivo and Oppo. They have some amazing handsets that offer stellar performance that come with a dirt cheap price tag. This one is also about such a budget smartphone. But don’t get me wrong when I tag it as a budget smartphone. It has some serious specifications when it comes to a phone in this price bracket. For just $70, the Zopo Hero 2 is one of the best smartphones you can get in this price range.

The Zopo Hero 2 comes with a 5.5-inch 720p display panel covered in 2.5D glass. The phone even has a metal frame surrounding it. Under the hood is the MT6737 SoC with a quad core processor. There is only 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The memory should’ve been bumped up to 2GB.

Zopo Hero 2 Front And Back

There is an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera both of which come with an LED flash. Since the device is not a powerhouse, there is only a 2,300mAh battery to provide the juice.

The pleasant surprise comes in the form of a fingerprint scanner at the rear side of the Zopo Hero 2. Also present is a gorgeous Diamond Stone finish on the back panel which gives it a very appealing look. It truly stays out of the pack.

At a price tag of $69.99, there is nothing that we can complain about the Zopo Hero 2. The RAM may be the only thing that we can complain about considering the fact that Android Marshmallow and the apps could use the extra gig. Day to day usage might be a bit on the slower side, but at the end of the day, it costs only 70 bucks and we can’t expect blazing performance.
