When it comes to expensive handsets, we’ve seen our fair share. Most over a grand come bejeweled, but not the Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design. This one screams premium without overdoing it, and it has just become available to pre-order with a whopping price tag of €1395.

The Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design price is going to put it out the reach of average consumers. That said, there is certainly a massive market for the rich which is where this one fits in. It isn’t nearly as expensive as some of the golden or diamond encrusted models we have seen. It also offers up quite a bit more when it comes to specifications than you’ll find on most handsets of this nature.

At first glance you’ll notice the Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design looks a lot like the regular model. That’s because it is basically the same handset but with the Porsche Design branding on the front and back. There is no fingerprint sensor on the back either as it’s now on the home button. The display isn’t quite as large at 5.5-inches, but a whole lot nicer thanks to a QHD resolution and Edges on the sides. It is certainly a good looking smartphone.
