White Nokia 6 set to go on sale in the Philippines

#

The Nokia 6 was a great surprise for fans of the old brand even with HMD behind the wheel. A White Nokia 6 has been spotted online ahead of its release date, and this time around it’s not in China.

There are millions of consumers waiting to get their hands on the next batch of Nokia 6 smartphones in China. They initial run sold out in seconds, and we expect the same thing to happen wherever the handset lands once it breaks borders. We weren’t sure exactly when that would be although it appears that question has been answered today. A White Nokia 6 is going on sale tomorrow, but you will have to reside in the Philippines to pick one up.

Lazada in the Philippines has seemingly locked down the mythical White Nokia 6. The handset is currently listed for sale at the retailer with a price tag of PHP 18,590 which equates to around $370. That’s higher than the China price, but not unusual by any means. It’s also still a deal considering the Nokia 6 specifications which you can read more about here.

There’s been no mention of the White Nokia 6 or the regular model hitting other locales, but we know it will happen eventually. While HMD might need some time to catch up with demand we fully expect them to release several of the new Nokia smartphones across Europe, the US and various other regions throughout the globe.

Would you like to see the White Nokia 6 come to your region?

UPDATE – Apparently, Lazada is a third-party and not an official HMD retailer of the Nokia 6. HMD has said the phone is not being sold officially outside of China.
