New Archos 50 Graphite, 55 Graphite have budget pricing

MWC 2017 in Barcelona runs from February 27 to March 2 and news is already arriving ahead of the event. The new Archos 50 and 55 Graphite have been announced with budget pricing. The Archos 50 Graphite and Archos 55 Graphite are heading for a release in June and we have the specifications and more straight ahead.

Yesterday we reported on an upcoming Archos tablet and now it’s the turn of two new Android smartphones. We’ll begin with the lower end of the two. The dual SIM 50 Graphite phone measures 144mm x 72.7mm x 8.9mm and weighs in at 160g. It comes in a black color with a metal unibody design and features a fingerprint sensor and curved glass display.

Archos 50 Graphite specs are as follows –
• 1.5GHz MediaTek quad-core processor and Mali-T720 graphics
• 5-inch display with HD resolution of 1280 x 720
• 1GB of RAM
• 16GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD to 128GB)
• Dual rear camera with13-megapixel + 2-megapixel sensors and LED flash
• 5-megapixel front-facing camera
• 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS
• 2400 mAh battery
• Android 7.0 Nougat OS

The higher-specced of the two new Archos smartphones is the Archos 55 Graphite. The dual SIM phone is also in a black color with curved glass display and a fingerprint sensor. The handset measures 157.8mm x 72.2mm x 7.8mm.

Archos 55 Graphite specs are as follows –
• 1.5GHz MediaTek quad-core processor and Mali-T720 graphics
• 5.5-inch display with HD resolution of 1280 x 720
• 2GB of RAM
• 16GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD to 128GB)
• Dual rear camera with13-megapixel + 2-megapixel sensors and LED flash
• 5-megapixel front-facing camera
• 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS
• 3000 mAh battery
• Android 7.0 Nougat OS

Full pricing has not yet been given other than prices will start from €130. That’s equivalent to around $137, £110, or Rs. 9150.
