Apple iPad vs iPad 2: New iOS 4.2 Ad, BB PlayBook Head-to-Head

We thought we would cram everything into one article here to talk about the Apple iPad, the iPad 2, the new commercial ad featuring iOS 4.2 features and we decided to add iPad 2 and BB PlayBook going head-to-head with its release dates.

Lets talk about the new iPad commercial ad that we found via 9to5Mac, it covers all the new iOS 4.2 (4.2.1) features, the new video is titled “iPad is Amazing” and it shows you Pages Printing, AirPlay and MultiTasking.

What we would love to know is why Apple left out the folders in the video; it showed a few apps and not much else we did not know already. Please do watch the video below provided by YouTube.

The next question we would love to ask you is “Would you buy the current Apple iPad or will you wait for the new iPad 2 that is releasing next year?” please do scroll down to the comments area below and let us know what you would choose.

Now we found something very interesting indeed via T3, which covers the new iPad 2 and the BB PlayBook going head-to-head. Apparently the two new devices will launch at around about the same time, it seems that if sources are correct that the BlackBerry PlayBook and the Apple iPad 2 will arrive within days of each other sometime in April or May of 2011.

Why you ponder on the above information please do let us know what you think, will you wait for the iPad 2 or buy the current iPad? Do you think Apple and RIM will release its new tablets at near enough the same timeframe? What features would you like to see on the new iPad 2?

If I could get the current iPad at a significantly discounted price, like $300, then I would buy it now. However, from what I've been reading, it seems that I would be better off to wait for the new iPad, which is my plan.

From what I saw in the iPad I wouldn’t consider buying it, but the iPad2 seems to be better, so I’m considering that. I’ll just have to wait and see what it actually offers instead on relying on the online promo info.
