Leave Your RatingAmazon wish to put a smile on Apple iPhone users and today they have just done that with its all new tweaked application for Apple’s iPhone. The small tweak to its Kindle will now take iPhone owners to a dedicated iPhone optimized store when they click on the “get books” button.
The added feature now adds a page that will allow you the iPhone user to search either by title, category, author or keyword. Just so you know even with this tweak this app will still boot you out to the Safari application instead of implementing the browsing experience within the Kindle app itself.
Main Kindle for iPhone features:
- Read first chapters of any book for free before you buy
- Download the Kindle books you already own for free — they are automatically backed up on Amazon.com
- Buy a Kindle book from your Mac, PC, or iPhone using a Web browser and wirelessly transfer the books to your iPhone
- Adjust the text size, add bookmarks, and view the annotations you created on your Kindle device
Apparently when the all new iPhone 3.0 OS update arrives it will allow devs to add in-app micropayments, go directly to iTunes.
