Leave Your RatingGood news today because SlingPlayer Mobile for iPhone has been released by Sling Media, this app is also for all iPod Touch users, the new release is for customers all across Europe plus the Wi-Fi version of the app is now available in 16 additional countries.
This application was released first to those in Canada, UK and US in May 2009, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Sling Media John Gilmore said and quotes
“We are disappointed that Apple has not yet approved the 3G version of the SlingPlayer Mobile application for iPhone and iPod customers outside the US,”
What we all want is the 3G support version as this would be a great benefit of this app, when you think about it Nokia, BlackBerry and Sony Ericsson phones can do it so why not the iPhone.
The new SlingPlayer Mobile software application connects to your Slingbox SOLO or PRO and allows you to watch and control your home TV when connected to a Wi-Fi network. SlingPlayer Mobile costs £17.99 and needs at least OS 3.0 or later.
