While it isn’t 4K, it is the current standard for mobile VR and should look great with its high-contrast AMOLED panel. The rear camera is listed at 23MP while the front-facing snapper clocks in at 8MP. Both with Dual-LED Real Tone flashes. Other features to note include 4G LTE, NFC, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The handset will draw is power through a USB Type-C port and sports a 3,300mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0.

Content for the a handset of this nature is going to be slim, but that won’t be the case by the time it arrives. The smartphone will debut in Q2 of 2017 and they have already shown a few things off like the DressingRoom Gap App and there are Tango apps in the Play Store already as well. The Asus ZenFone AR price is still up in the air, but the high-end 8GB model with 256GB will not be cheap although the lower rungs could certainly prove affordable.
