Bazaar for Windows Phone 7, dev-unlocked handsets only

If you want to get some Windows Phone apps onto your device that have basically been rejected by Microsoft because they in some way or another violate Microsoft’s guidelines, then what you need is Bazaar for Windows Phone 7, but the catch is you’ll require a developer unlocked custom ROM based Windows Phone 7 handset to do so.

With that in mind the guys over at Redmond Pie have come up with a guide on just how to install Bazaar on your Windows Phone 7 smartphone. Obviously the usual disclaimer accompanies the guide whereby if you do follow the guide and lose data or your device is damaged then you do so at your own risk.

The guide is for installing Bazaar on developer unlocked Windows Phone 7 handsets and not ChevronWP7 unlocked devices, and you must flash a custom ROM with XAP installation with Internet Explorer support. You will also require Zune and Windows Phone Developer Tools running on a Windows PC.

So here’s that guide…Download the latest Bazaar to your computer from XDA-developers, then launch Windows Phone Developer Tools and click Application Deployment and set your supported handset as the target. Next select the downloaded Bazaar .xap file and then connect your Windows Phone 7 handset via USB to the computer.

Once you are connected to the PC sync with Zune, and then return to Windows Phone Developer Tools and click Deploy, and that basically it, if all went well you should now have Bazaar installed on your Windows Phone.
