Does the colour of a mobile phone sway your decision?

This day and age the mobile phone can come in a variety of colours; you can even get them blinged in gold, platinum, diamonds and Swarovski crystals rather than the everyday drab blacks, greys and silvers.

One of the trends of mobile phone suppliers of today is to give a tired old handset a cosmetic makeover and re-launch them as new handsets, which in many a case isn’t the fact as spec-wise everything remains the same.

The thing I’m trying to get at is does colour really make that much a difference to those who actually purchase the device? Surely a customer bases their choice on what the mobile phone can offer in terms of features and network coverage.

Or am I wrong, do people decide what to buy on colour preference? And so a question for our readers…

Does the colour of a mobile phone sway your decision?
