Droid 4 unboxed and handled on video

As we reported earlier today the new Motorola Droid 4 is now available from Verizon Wireless, so what we have for those that might be still sitting on the fence over the Droid 4 pondering on whether to pick it up over the Motorola Droid RAZR or Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX is a little unboxing and hand-on video for your consideration below.

The unboxing of the Motorola Droid 4 comes our way courtesy of Aaron Baker over at Phone Dog who does a “rugged old fashioned style unboxing” of the latest Droid smartphone to hit the Big Red.

So as usual we’ll kick off with a spec reminder, the Motorola Droid 4 is na Android 2.03 Gingerbread smartphone but will see an update to Android Ice Cream Sandwich in the coming months, and sports a 4-inch qHD touch screen along with an 8 megapixel rear facing camera, 1080p video, 1.3 megapixel front facing snapper, 1.2Ghz dual core TI OMAP processor, 4G, and QWERTY keyboard and 1785mAh non-removable battery.

In the Droid 4 box you get all the typical gear such as charger, manual, the smartphone of course, and a micro SIM card along with what looks like a micro SIM card ejector tool. And comes with numerous Verizon apps pre-installed.

Anyway I have no wish to spoil your viewing pleasure of the unboxing so I’ll leave it right there and let you head on down to mash that play button and check out the Motorola Droid 4 being unboxed, and let you decide for yourself if the Droid 4 is in fact the device for you…enjoy
