Droid Razr OTA update, stronger data connectivity and camera

Along with Samsung this year, rival Motorola have been impressing a vast audience of customers with their Droid Bionic and the newest of the bunch that of the Droid RAZR. The RAZR just recently released on US carrier Verizon and despite reports at the start of this month, that there was a problem with the handset’s SIM card with it not recognizing the LTE service, the feedback has been good.

Putting this to one side, we wanted to tell you today that Verizon have just announced a new software OTA update for your new RAZR, which users are encouraged to download.

Benefits as droid-life.com reported to the new update will include, the very item we’ve spoken about, that of SIM Error notification being fixed, improved camera features and quality as well as improved stability of menu access, browser, video playback, improved 3G/4G data connectivity and so on.

Checking the update is possible if you: Head into Settings> About phone> System updates to check. Take a look at some of our previous articles in which we’ve compared the Droid RAZR to the new Droid 4 or even HTC’s Rezound?

What are your thoughts on the new software OTA update?
