First look from Microsoft Windows Phone 7

Great news for those of us that have been waiting for more information on the Windows Phone 7 as Microsoft have kindly given us a look at what we could expect.

Of course we wont see anything on the market for months yet, but Microsoft wanted to show us what we could expect for later this year hence we have pictures of the LG device which will be running the Windows Phone 7 operating system.

The requirements for hardware on this operating system will mean that it will have to have WVGA 800 x 480 pixel capacitive touchscreen, and LG will be including a landscape orientated sliding keyboard.

Although there is a large keyboard it will be just slightly thicker than an iPhone and will include a 5 megapixel camera it is also assumes to meet the other Windows Phone 7 requirements of a 1 GHz processor, along with Wi-Fi and a GPS receiver and a FM radio. The device hasn’t been named yet by LG but it could debut as early as September. Source – brighthand.com
