Intex Aqua View set to debut for Rs. 9,390 price with 2GB of RAM

#

Another day, another fingerprint scanner. Intex is back again this week with a new handset sporting a scanner in the Intex Aqua View. While it does share a few features with the Intex Aqua View Secure, this handset offers up quite a bit more bang for your buck.

A few weeks ago, Intex introduced us to the Intex Aqua Secure, a smartphone in the budget class with 4G LTE and a fingerprint scanner. Then they unveiled a similar device with familiar features in the Intex Cloud String HD. Well, it turns out they weren’t quite done yet as today we have gotten wind of the Intex Aqua View which is an interesting option for consumers in the region.

The Intex Aqua View is the same size as the Cloud String HD, so you’ll get a 5-inch panel but it will have a better resolution at 1,280 x 720. Everything else is bumped up as well which includes a quad-core MediaTek chip clocked at 1GHz, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage. As for the cameras, the Intex Aqua View sports an 8MP snapper on the back and a 5MP on the front.

While we’ve already told you about the fingerprint scanner, the Intex Aqua View also has Dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE (single SIM), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and all the usual sensors. Other options to note include a microSD card slot and the OS known as Android 5.1. As a bonus, Intex is throwing in a few freebies with a screen protector, case, and an Eyelet Cardboard VR headset.

While we don’t have an exact release date for the Intex Aqua View just yet, it will make its debut sometime this week and will be available in White or Grey. The Intex Aqua View price is currently listed at Rs. 9,390, which shakes out to around €123 or $140 stateside.
