iPhone 2012 event vs 4 more competitors

I’m sure everyone knows that next month is expected to be quite a busy period for the mobile space, as I have said before, there seems to be quite a bit going on event wise during September. The main event is of course the expected launch of the iPhone 5, which is rumoured to happen on the 12th, although obviously Apple hasn’t yet put their official stamp on that date. However Apple’s competitors wont be letting Apple grab all the September event glory, as three Apple’s rivals also have events in the same month.

The month of September will also see events being held by Nokia, Motorola and Amazon, and all those events are in the first week of the month reports iDownload Blog, with Amazon now sending out invites to their event that will be held on the 5th of Sept.

Samsung is also holding their Unpacked event on the 29th of this month, where it is expected the company will unveil the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and no doubt more.

As for September, that first week includes, a Nokia and Microsoft event in New York City scheduled for the 5th where it is hoped Nokia will unveil new smartphones sporting the Windows Phone 8 operating system. On the same day, Motorola is also holding an event, again in New York City, where it is also hoped the firm will unveil the Motorola Droid RAZR HD.

Lastly, Amazon has now jumped into the event game by announcing an event for the 6th of September in Santa Monica, California, an event that not much is known about, but the rumour is Amazon to show off new Kindle gear, and perhaps even an Amazon Kindle phone.

Apparently the rival companies all announced their events after news outlets said Apple would hold their event on the 12th of Sept, so it looks like rivals are attempting to get their gear unveiled before Apple can grab all the attention with their new iPhone and rumoured new Apple iPad Mini.
