The January transfer window dates actually vary according to league and country, but the Premier League football transfer window opens on January 2, and of course that’s today. As well as England the transfer windows also opened today for Scotland, France, and Germany, and other countries will follow over the course of the next few days. The Premier League January transfer window closes at 11pm on February 1st, and many of us will be glued to the extremely popular BBC Sport app for the news as it happens.
