LG Intuition Verizon online launch tomorrow

As many iPhone fans are aware smartphones have been growing in size quiet significantly over the last couple of years, and even more so when the original Samsung Galaxy Note was released last year. Now more companies are looking to enter the phablet market and it has now been announced that the LG Intuition on Verizon will launch online tomorrow.

As an article over on PCAdvisor is reporting the LG Intuition is a powerful device packing a dual core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. There is also 1GB of RAM with 4G LTE connectivity along with that all important stylus for taking notes. The device sports a 5-inch display while camera wise an eight megapixel unit can be found on the back that is capable of 1080p HD video capture, while around the front is a 1.3 megapixel shooter.

The LG Intuition will come running the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, and will be available for $199 with a new two year contract with Verizon. LG have been pushing the handsets HD screen with its 4:3 aspect ratio in its press release, but didn’t reveal the exact screen resolution.

LG’s design of the handset seems to be slightly focused on enterprise users with the inclusion of full VPN and remote wipe and encryption support. That’s not to say the handset doesn’t feature some consumer oriented features such as NFC compatibility, along with a pair of programmable NFC tags.

These can be set up to set off a variety of different actions on the handset like turning on Wi-Fi or putting it to sleep. Obviously the LG Intuition will get compared to the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 2, which was officially launched last week ahead of its release. It is thought to be arriving in the US by the end of 2012 barring any last minute delays or injunctions by Apple.

In the meantime consumers can order the LG Intuition online from Verizon from tomorrow, or it will be available in stores from next week on September 10th. Will you be getting the LG Intuition?

What an absolute piece of garbage. The LG phone is so badly designed that the stylus it ships with does not fit in the phone. SO you have to carry your phone and stylus separately in your pocket. The LG phone is a polished turd compared to the Galaxy Note 2. Verizon must think their customers are morons to buy this half baked POS.
