LTE/DC-HSPA+ Network Launched in Hong Kong

Keeping up with other countries when it comes to 4G networks, Hong Kong has now gone 4G with the ZTE and CLS partnership launch of their LTE/DC-HSPA+ network. Hong Kong mobile operator CLS’s combined network will deliver full coverage high speed data across Hong Kong.

According to an article over on Telecom Paper, the new LTE’DC-HSPA+ network is to use CLS spectrum to deliver complete coverage of mobile broadband all over Hong Kong.

As for professional services and corporate the new network will supply mobile HD video conferencing, mobile real time monitoring, mobile office, mobile real time imaging for tele-healthcare, advertising and mobile interactive marketing.

CLS will launch the LTE/DC-HSPA+ network along with corporate services and also plans on offering their consumer services commercially as of Q1 2011 once devices being entering the mobile market.
