#

There’s plenty of excitement building up about new high-end Lumia smartphone releases. The Microsoft Lumia 950 and 950 XL will be running Windows 10 Mobile out of the box and are tipped to be launched next month. One of the competitors of the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL will be Apple’s recently announced iPhone 6S Plus. With this in mind we’re looking at the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL (rumored specs) vs. iPhone 6S Plus.

Leaks and rumors about the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL before the launch have been plentiful. We’ve managed to build up a pretty good picture of what we can expect, including specifications. However, please bear in mind that this smartphone has not been made official yet, so all of the rumored specs listed here are so far unconfirmed. Nevertheless we often find that leaked specs are very close to a match so this should give an idea of what the Lumia 950 XL will offer. Of course the specs for the iPhone 6S Plus are official and it will release on September 25th.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 XL has a Snapdragon 810 processor while the Apple iPhone 6S Plus packs a 2GHz Apple A9 dual-core processor with M9 motion coprocessor.

Another thing worth noting is that the Lumia 950 XL is thought to have a polycarbonate build while the iPhone 6S Plus has an aluminum build. Of course specs don’t tell the full picture and features are also important. The Lumia 950 XL is expected to include a USB Type-C port, optional stylus pen use, iris scanner, and fast charging. For a company that is supposed to be in the forefront of the tech space, MS is the most glacial, retarded slug out there. Lumia fans (and would be fans) have been waiting for YEARS for a decent flagship. Now MS has been dribbling crumbs of teasers for a year while promising next month, next month, next month…guess what MS, we’re SICK of it! You had your chance and you blew it!!!

Who’s we? The Lumia 950 XL is going to be an fantastic flagship smartphone! What competition is comparable? Note 5?, iPhone 6s plus? These two don’t even have expandable “microSDXC” storage or a “3300” mAh battery with “removable” wireless charging with quick charge 2 wtf it’s 2015? Looking at Note 5 it went backwards vs Note 4? Wtf?
As for OS you can keep your iOS9, Android 6??…I meant Android 5.1 if somehow you think it can compare to Windows 10 Mobile?

Apple and Android people are sheep! Unfortunately there’s a lot of them!

      1. Not only that, but why does everyone keep saying they’ve been
waiting “years” for a Windows flagship phone. The Lumia 930/Icon
released last spring 2014, the Samsung Ativ SE released in April 2014, and the
HTC One M8 Windows was released in August 2014. That’s 3 Windows
“flagships” released last year alone. This year none have
released yet and all of the “flagships” except the m8 have been
pulled from the shelves. If anything, “Lumia fans” have only waited a
year and a half, not years, for a new flagship. If you had a 2 year contract
expire this spring and didn’t want to buy last year’s model then that’s fine,
but don’t act like there hasn’t been any options for “years”.

Just in time my 3 year contract is up! This is gonna be a fantastic jump from Samsung ATIV S “WP8.1 update” to MS Lumia 950 XL “Win 10 Mobile” this is the first time MS is at the top of the competition vs Samsung Note 5 and Apple iPhone 6s plus.

The best thing about Windows 10 Mobile it can use all Android & Apple apps! One OS to rule them all. Bing it!
