Motorola Atrix 2 from Android ICS back to Gingerbread

If you own the Motorola Atrix 2 and running Android Ice Cream Sandwich you may be having a few issues that is unbearable, are you wishing that you stuck with Gingerbread? Even if you are not having problems the thought of going back to Android GB might have crossed your mind.

If you do wish to go back to Gingerbread you will be happy to know that there is a new script for AT&T Motorola Atrix 3 users, which means you can go back to Gingerbread 2.3.5 from ICS with a new fxz patch (You should really read this as its interesting). Apparently this has been tested and will not brick your handset, some have said that their phone got bricked on ICS and decided to go back to 2.3.5 from this.

Thanks to XDA Developers they warn users that leaked firmware can be dangerous to use, such as the Epic 4G Touch, Galaxy Note and Galaxy S II using leaked versions of ICS engaged them bricked. A few Atrix 2 users found that by updated to Ice Cream Sandwich via a leak cause some issues. XDA Senior Member jimbridgman found a way with a new method of a way out of ICS, it is not sure why the solution for an AT&T phone ended up on an a Chinese forum, but it is simple and requires users to download a certain file then unpack it, and then run it via Terminal or Command Prompt.

Ok, so it is not the best method but it works according to the source above, for more information on this please visit this forum page. You should know that to go back from ICS to Gingerbread using this method will only work if you are on Ice Cream Sandwich, if you do decide to try this out please do come back to us and let us know how you got on.

As usual we here at Phones Review are not responsible for your actions, you try this at your own risk, we only supply the news.

Hey Steven, Can you please specify what problems are you talking about because after updating to ICS (Motorola Atrix 2), I am in love with it. Everything seems to be so perfect now. For eg, the Network issue and the battery life has been extended with ICS..

My Atrix 2 battery life seems to be worst with ICS compared to GB. My phone never hang with GB, but it hangs with ICS. My playlist is gone after ICS upgrade. I am using the same apps, am I missing something?
