Nexus 7P specifications rumored to put it in the flagship class

#

The nexus news is coming in fast folks. Just yesterday we learned there could be a Pixel tablet from Huawei. Now, we’re getting a look at the Nexus 7P specifications thanks to a juicy new leak.

When word of a possible 7-inch Google-backed slate came to light, people took notice. It got our attention as well considering we are fans of the Nexus lineup and smaller slates in general. It remains to be seen if the mysterious new slate will arrive with the Pixel moniker so, for now, it’s the Nexus 7P, and here are its rumored specifications.

As expected, the Nexus 7P will sport a 7-inch panel with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440, otherwise known as QHD. It’s listed as an AMOLED panel as well, but that’s all we know at the moment. As for the horsepower, that will come from the popular Snapdragon 820 and 4GB of RAM… a great flagship combo, but in a slate. The storage is listed at 64GB with no word of expansion while the rear camera clocks in at 13MP.

If the Nexus 7P specifications leak pans out, it will be a tablet to contend with. It’s hard to beat stock Android, and when you combine those specs with what we assume will be an affordable price tag, you’ve generally got a winner on your hands. If all those pieces come together, the Nexus 7P could be the top-seller with Android slates this holiday season.
