Nokia 5800 XpressMusic gains another review
The latest addition to the Nokia XpressMusic range of mobile phones is the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, and thus far has received good reviews from online reviewers.
Spec wise the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic offers a 3.2 inch full touchscreen display, MPEG, WMV and 3GP video formats, comes with an 8GB microSD card and supports up to 16GB microSD cards, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, Wifi, and aGPS.
The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic also offers a 3.15 megapixel camera with autofocus function, flash, and Carl Zeiss optics, Nokia Maps 2.0 Touch software, and runs on Symbian 9.4 OS.

This is not a review, just a monkey cuting and pasting the phones specs. Call it what it is. Now for a review.
The phone while looking nice and having decent functionality, with the ability to add applciations for most things, unfortunately comes with the usual Nokia flaw of not having had people with a clue use the phone. Outdoors the screen is almost impossible to read, add some sunshine and you may as well be blind. This is a huge issue for a phone that needs its screen for its entire operation, short of answering and hanging up calls, oh and volume. The intuitive aspect that used to be Nokias bread and butter, is now replaced by an ambiguos overcomplicated system that tries to do so much while giving you so little. The fact that very little comes packed with the phone, but is then added to the phone when you connect through the PC seems pointless. The internet system on the phone also seems to fail miserably. With my home and office swimming in wifi I thought this is simple, can do everythign via wifi. Nope, not even close. I try to update the phone, it doesnt even register that the wifi gives it net access. Try to browse it warns me that it is going to conenct through everything but the wifi. Even with changes to the access points, and making wifi the only net connection it still fails. This phone had so much potential, but as was shown when they shipped it to the US unable to use 3G, it shows the lack of preparation and testing. I will not even go into the small glitches I have had, but will just say that within my first 7 days I have had to return the phone for a swap over as it intermitently hangs when someone calls me, vibrating away, no buttons work, cant shut the call down, and have to take out the battery to shut the phone down and turn it off. The record for this was 10 minutes before I wanted to hit the phone with a hammer. If this was MicroSloth this would be a feature, but for a phone there is no ctrl alt del.
