It is available in the market now. I purchased it in Navi Mumbai at Rs. 6,300 on 02 Sept. Display looks okay. With its limited memory it might not be suitable for someone who is planning to use it extensively for internet surfing. In that case you could consider the Samsung Galaxy Pocket S-5300 – 2.8in/7.11cm QVGA display, 832Mhz processor 3GB memory and Android 2.3, but is available for rs. 150 less. The biggest drawback of the Asha 311 is doesn’t support multi-tasking.
I purchased the Asha 311 for my wife who was only interested in a basic phone.
