Nokia Asha 311 Touch for Kenya is youth perfect

If you happen to live over in Kenya, and are a fan of Nokia smartphones, you might like to know that Nokia has now made available for purchase the Nokia Asha 311 Touch in Kenya from retailers across the country, and commands a price tag of KES.9990, which runs the Nokia operating system, and comes with 40 free Electronic Arts games that are exclusive to Nokia.

According to a report over on IT News Africa, the general manager of Nokia East Africa has said that after recently releasing the Nokia Asha 305 they have now added the Nokia Asha 311 to their full touch family, which is in line with Nokia’s commitment to deliver smartphones to the vibrant youth market with more affordable price point.

The Nokia Asha 311 Touch sports a fully redesigned Asha Touch interface that enables the user to experience a multitude of mobile entertainment options such as those 40 EA games that include Bejeweled, EA Sports FIFA 12, Tetris, Need for Speed: The Run, and classic games such as Pac-man, Final Fantasy and more can be purchased from the Nokia Ovi Store.

Spec wise the Nokia Asha 311 sports a 3.inch touch screen with Corning Gorilla Glass, a 3.2 megapixel rear facing camera, 120MB internal memory, microSD expansion up to 32GB, 1GHz single core processor, Bluetooth 2.1, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, GPS navigation, with Nokia Maps and comes preloaded with Twitter and Facebook apps along with a 15 level version of Angry Birds, and also features a copy of the popular messaging service Whatsapp.

The Nokia Asha 311 measures 106 x 52 x 12.9mm with a weight of 95 grams and sports a 1110mAh battery that is said to deliver up to 7.20 hours talk time and up to 781 hours on standby time.
