#

If you are one of our readers in India who have been wondering about the launch of two new Nokia smartphones there, we have some promising news today. A Nokia Lumia 730 Dual SIM, Lumia 830 October 1st India launch prospect is being reported today, and of course that’s tomorrow!

These two handsets were both made official earlier this month, alongside the Lumia 735, which is a single SIM, 4G LTE version of the Lumia 730. The Lumia 730 is a Dual SIM phone targeted at the affordable end of the market while the Lumia 830 is a single SIM higher-end smartphone.

Now it has been revealed that invitations have been issued for a Microsoft press event that will take place in India on October 1st. While the invites don’t disclose what the news will be, it seems virtually certain that we will see the launches of the Lumia 730 Dual SIM and Lumia 830.

This seems even more likely when considering that one of the highlights of the Lumia 730 is a selfie 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and India has recently teased a new phone for selfie images on Twitter. Both of these phones run Windows Phone 8.1 with the Lumia Denim update, and for more details you might want to check out our a full specs breakdown of the Lumia 730 vs. Lumia 830.

As for pricing that still hasn’t been confirmed, but earlier we gave some initial price and release details for the Lumia 830 in India. It was reported that the phone would be available at some point in October and an unconfirmed price of Rs. 26,000 was given. Once the phones are officially launched for India we’ll be able to give you confirmed prices for both.

If you’re in India have you been waiting for the launches of the Lumia 830 and Lumia 730 Dual SIM? What do you think of the rumored price above for the Lumia 830? We always appreciate your comments.

Then what about 930?!? If it is below 30k… It would certainly turn the whole indian market upside-down… Up till now, even if system is awesome, the chose of hardware and the pricing was the issue.. Hope they get it right this time.
