Nokia Lumia 920 specs includes wireless charging

Tomorrow it is expected that Nokia will unveil their newest addition to the Lumia line of devices at an event with Microsoft, the Nokia Lumia 920, which will be Nokia’s new flagship Windows Phone handset, which features some impressive specs along with wireless charging via an inductive method.

According to an article over on The Verge, they have manages to confirm some of the specifications on the Nokia Lumia 920 as sporting a 4.5-inch HD touch screen along with 1GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and powered by a 1.5GHz dual core processor, and of course is expected to be a Windows Phone 8 smartphone.

Apparently Nokia is said to be touting the Nokia Lumia 920 as a PureView smartphone, which the guys say they can now also confirm, however the smartphone will sport an 8 megapixel rear facing snapper rather than the massive 41 megapixel camera on the Nokia 808 PureView handset.

Due to advancements in the camera software and image stabilisation Nokia plans on shipping with the Lumia 920, Nokia will focus on marketing the Lumia 920 as a PureView device, and the handset will also sport a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera.

As Nokia and Microsoft are holding that special event tomorrow the 5th of September, it is expected Nokia will announced the Lumia 920 initially for AT&T with a launch expected some time in October or November.

As for that wireless charging feature on the Nokia Lumia 920, my colleague will be covering that aspect of the Lumia 920 in a different post, so I’ll leave it to them to dish out the details on that. But I would like to ask our readers if wireless charging is something that draws you to a device, or is it something that you can do without?
