Non-public limited edition Motorola Droid Razr

The Motorola Droid RAZR and Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX have been available in the public space for a while over in the USA from Verizon, however if you happen to work of the Big Red, the word is the carrier is putting our a limited edition of the Android 2.3 Gingerbread smartphones to employees only, and these limited edition RAZR’s won’t be available to the public.

According to the guys over at Android and Me, they received an email from an employee of Verizon letting it be known that the company will be offering a limited edition of the Motorola Droid RAZR to their employees.

So what is different with the limited edition Android smartphones? Well apparently they will be engraved on the rear with a unique number, and also engraved on the front with limited edition along with featuring a unique red and black pattern, and will also include a free dock.

Furthermore, the limited edition devices will be offered to Verizon employees at a discounted price, which will apparently be 99-bucks of a 16GB version and $199 for a 32GB MAXX model.

Apparently Verizon employees will be able to snap up the limited edition handsets sometime in April, so not too far off.

Looks like Big Red employees are getting a fairly nice deal here, but how long before one of these limited edition Droid RAZRs pops up on an auction site for sale, and if so would you be interested in owning one?
