O2 UK Site Mistake: BlackBerry Bold 9900 Pops Up

The O2 UK mobile website has a mistake on it, first of all the BlackBerry Bold 9900 pops up on its page with an August release, which is good news, but they have an error.

Here is the mistake; visit this O2 Coming Soon page and you see the BlackBerry Bold 9900 Touch listing, but when you click the link (BlackBerry Bold 9900) the main title at the top in big bold black letters shows “Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro” but right click this title and then paste it into a word doc it say’s “BlackBerry Bold 9900”, sorry to be finicky but that is a site listing error.

Ok the minor error out of the way, the BlackBerry Bold 9900 is listed on the O2 UK website as coming soon with an August release (Great News).

It does not give the exact release date in August, nor does it give any prices of how much it will be but at least we know it is coming that month. This will no doubt be available for free on certain contract deals and of course as a Pay and go handset, time will tell.

The new Bold Touch will come with features such as the new BlackBerry 7 operating system, a 2.8-inch VGA touchscreen display, full QWERTY keyboard, 1.2GHz single-core processor, HSDPA, NFC, GPS, 5MP camera, it will also come with 720p video recording, 768MB of RAM, Wi-Fi and 8GB of internal memory.

This will be the thinnest BlackBerry mobile phone to date, which will be very fast and indeed sleek, the design looks lovely with the casing made of brushed stainless steel and refined touches.

We like the fact it will come with Augmented Reality, Location Based Services, Digital Compass, and the new BB 7.0 software and of course the much talked about Near Field Communications for mobile payments.

This new handset has not been released anywhere yet, so to see it on the O2 UK website is a good start to a Sunday morning.

Please let us know if and when you visit the O2 coming soon page and if the title listing shows the BlackBerry Bold 9900 with the heading being the Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro. We would also love to know if you will be the BlackBerry faithful and will be purchasing one upon release in August.

Please use the commenting are provided below and let us know what you will be getting your hands on the new Blackberry Bold 9900 aka Touch. Thank you so much
