Phones4U Orange Contract BlackBerry Bold: Customer service problems
Hi, my brother has the BlackBerry Bold phone on an Orange contract. The phone had been returned to orange for repair (as he was instructed to by Phones4U) as it has a number of issues.
Orange sent out a new handset, problem solved! Not quite, a month after receiving it orange called to say that the one he returned was not from them and demanded he returns the new one, which he did. He then contacted phones 4 u and explained what he was told by orange.
The handset is just over a month out of phones 4 u (12 month warranty) he has been paying a monthly fee for phone insurance and has been told to contact them. Which he did today. He has been told he will have to pay 25 pounds to get it repaired and will have to send it back and at his own cost!
Why the hell has he been paying for insurance? Phones 4 u is not interested in dealing with problems they just want your money and you get nothing in return! The phone is totally unusable and he still has his contract with orange.
