Samsung Tocco Lite has no repeat text alert facility, is this true?

I was considering buying a Samsung Tocco Lite. However Samsung Customer Services told me there is no repeat text alert facility on the phone (a feature which I really need).

Is this true? If so, then why on earth should such a sophisticated Samsung, with all those widgets and things, lack such a basic feature, which older Samsungs, such as the humble J700, incorporated?
