Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562, time to embrace specs

A while back the Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562 smartphone surfaced in the mobile space albeit not via official channels, however old Sammy has now gone all official with the Android 4.0 smartphone, and now we can bring your the official specs of the handset that although looks like the Samsung Galaxy S3, actually has more in common with the original Galaxy S.

The guys over at GSM Arena were about to get a little playtime with the Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562, and say that the device does have specifications similar to the Samsung Galaxy S but even a bit inferior. So here’s what you can expect from the Galaxy S Duos S7562…

The devices is an Android Ice Cream Sandwich handset with a 4-inch WVGA TFT touch screen along with a 5 megapixel rear facing snapper with LED flash, a VGA front facing camera, 512MB RAM, a 1GHz single core Cortex-A5 processor, Adreno 200 graphics, Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi, 4GB internal memory, microSD expansion up to 32GB, FM radio with RDS, a 3.5mm jack, A-GPS, and is a dual SIM handset.

Size wise the Samsung Galaxy S Duos measures 121.5 x 63.1 x 10.5mm with a weight of 120 grams and sports a 1500mAh battery, and Samsung says that that dual SIM is ‘Dual SIM Always on’ meaning that if you happen to be in a call on one SIM, and receive a call on the other, the user can forward that other call to the active card, and you can apparently configure how incoming calls are handled on one card whilst using data on the other.

The word is that the Samsung Galaxy S Duos should become available in Europe sometime next month, however at the moment Samsung is keeping just how much that Android handset will cost to themselves, but of course as soon as we hear we will pass that info along.

Does the Samsung Galaxy S Duos look like the kind of smartphone any of our readers would like to own?

I’m always on the look out for dual-SIM phones. It has all the basic things I’ll be needing – 5MP main camera with flash, that “Dual SIM Always On” option, not too huge for the pocket, a GPS, WiFi, predictive text option and huge enough data-storage capacity (microSD)

this mobile is gud but it has got some probs too
first of all only 2 gb apps can be stored (in phone memory ) , apps can not be moved to sd card
secondly i have a doubt when there will be a update (jelly bean ) in future , would the phone support it ?
