BT Graphite 1500 Twin Cordless Phone
The BT Graphite 1500 Twin cordless phone comes with an answering machine, caller ID and speakerphone, we all know that BT is the leading company in telecommunications and the BT Graphite 1500 which comes with two phones is pretty good.
The BT Graphite 1500 has what we like most energy efficient power supplies; this will cut the energy use by 30 percent which is fantastic. The main features here include message indicator, answering controls, 12 minutes record time, remote access to messages, Call screening and 50 name and number phonebook, plus you can have a 3-way conference call.
Please could you tell me where i would get the set up proceedures for my twin 1500 graphite answering machine? i lost the instructions.
You can get the instructions from the BT website

I purchased a BT Graphite 1500 Dual set from ASDA. The installation and set up was very simple and easy to do. However, when the answer phone operated the caller was cut off after 12 secs. I contacted BT was given an F number and was told to take it back to ASDA and exchange for another.
The exchanged item was set up but the answering machine side stopped after 35 sec of speech. I contacted BT and was advised to reset the handset as instructed. This we did but made no difference to the caller side of the answering machine. We have handed back the 1500 through ASDA and purchased another system. I am sorry to give these comments as the 1500 was anice machine.
I have had a Graphite 1500 Twin since December 08, and have had the same problem of the answering machine cutting of the message. This always happens when the caller was leaving a number. If anyone knows of a fix please post it.
Give the BT Graphite helpline a call on 0808 100 6556 they will be able to run through some things with you.
Personally I think you might be fighting a losing battle. If the phone works o.k. still why don’t you use the BT 1571 service and switch the one in the phone off.
BT helpline have now provided an F number and the phone is going back. I have never been happy with it. Sound quality is poor, and there is no back light, a minor thing, but irritating sometimes. I am not with BT and my provider charges for the BT1571 service. Thanks for the comments.
