T-Mobile extends 3G to 21 markets by years end

If you are one how had purchased a Sony Ericsson TM506s, the first HSDPA handset that is being offered by T-Mobile maybe you’ll be pleased to know that T-Mobile is extending their 3G network coverage.

The main reason for the network extension is obviously because of the impending G1, Google’s Android phone, but if you do happen to have a Sony Ericsson TM506s you can take advantage too.

T-Mobile has 13 cities presently live which are: Austin, Baltimore, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Las Vegas, Miami, Minneapolis, New York, Portland, San Antonio, and San Diego.

By mid October T-Mobile will add: Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, Orlando, Philadelphia, Sacramento, San Francisco, and Seattle. And by the end of the year: Birmingham, Denver, Detroit, Kansas City, Memphis, and Tampa.
