The Alcatel OT S222 is a nice easy to use phone. Good radio station sound quality but only one earphone.
A nice selection of ring tones to choose from for incoming calls and message alert. The phone enables customised key use. However, the user instructions are not clear about how to use the keypad to program shortcuts, but it is easy to do with a bit of practice.

Also, the appointments on the 'to do' list would be better if they were displayed in date order, not time only. However, the organiser is very useful. The phone has no camera, but it is a basic phone, a bit like the 'pebble' phones but with fewer features. I find texting easier without using predictive text, and there is a good choice of symbols #,@,?! etc that can be used in texting.

Overall, small, and compact compared to other phones which seem to be getting bigger and bigger.

I got mine from Orange for £7 with a £10 top up – cheaper than the current ASDA deal.
