TripAdvisor app for iPhone gets expanded

We are getting ever closer to that time again when many of us will be going on our annual summer holidays, and there may have been times in the past when we would have all picked a location or hotel that doesn’t turn out as good as we hoped it would have been, but in recent times most of us would have used reviews on the internet before choosing to book somewhere. Today we have news that the TripAdvisor app for the iPhone gets expanded with more cities, and remains a free download.

This feature packed application has only recently been updated to provide users an extra thirty cities, with reviews for hotels, restaurants, and attractions. One of the best features of the application is that all of the reviews and information are stored locally to your device so you won’t have to worry about data charges.

TripAdvisor Offline City Guides is available for users of the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad with millions of travellers already enjoying this useful holiday or trip tool. If a user wants to update the app they only have to find a Wi-Fi hotspot to get any new reviews posted while they have been away. All places that have been listed on the TripAdvisor website are included in the application.

Each city has the best itineraries that have been handpicked by members and destination experts that will help users explore those famous landmarks and neighbourhoods, and by using your devices GPS you can follow along and read about the interesting sights along the route. The application is easy to use and directions are even provided to get you to the selected restaurant or place of interest.

Popular cities in many locations around the world are now included from Las Vegas through to Rome, and to find out more and to download head over to the App Store.
