Verizon iPhone Release: Will It Feature LTE 4G Network?

When it comes to the Verizon iPhone everyone wishes to know when it will officially release, but a very good question has come to light that we think is a very good point being “Will it run on Verizon’s new LTE 4G network?” very good question.

We visited PC World and they ask this question, we have talked about when it will release and that the Big red needs the iPhone more than they are letting on according to 9to5Mac, is Android not doing so good and that is why Verizon needs the iPhone? You can read more about that here.

We have not talked about the Verizon iPhone running on the new LTE network not even the big boys like Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg or even Fortune mention anything about the smartphone running on the faster network, we even visited New York Times like PC World did and they mention nothing about it either so it stands to reason why such a question should be asked.

However, MacDailyNews reports that the LTE network for 4G data will be possible on the new Verizon iPhone, apparently the new smartphone will release just after Christmas when AT&T loses its exclusivity and that the iPhone will be the ONLY LTE phone.

But if Verizon release the iPhone early 2011 it will not coincide with the release of LTE smartphones suggested to release mid-2011, if this is the case it means that Verizon will not release the iPhone to mid-2011.
